What is FFA?
"Future Farmers of America" was founded by a group of young farmers in 1928. Their mission was to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population.
In 1988 the Future Farmers of America changed its name to the National FFA Organization to fit the growing diversity of agriculture. So today, we are still the Future Farmers of America. But, we are also the future biologists, future chemists, future veterinarians, future engineers, future entrepreneurs and future civic leaders.
What does FFA provide?
FFA is an intercurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of three components of agricultural education.
